Gun Hill
The second highest peak of the mountain in Mussoorie, Gun Hill offers a panoramic view of the surrounding valley and snow-capped Himalayas. It is said that during the British Raj, a gun placed on the hill was used to people being fired warning. Since then, the place became known as Gun Hill. Aninteresting way to get there is by cable car.


Kempty Falls
The best attraction to enjoy during the trip Mussoorie, Kempty Falls is located about 15 km from the main town of Mussoorie and is a place full of people during the summer months. The water cascades from a height of 40 feet and is divided into five streams before hitting the ground and creating a large pool on the floor. People enjoy the dive in the pool during the hot summer of May and June.


Lal Tibba
The highest point of the city, Lal or Red Tibb Hill offers beautiful views of the Himalayas. At the edge of the hill stands a tower with a telescope that is used for sightseeing. Radio and television stations are located in this area.





The Mall
The mall is the area's busiest and most dynamic of Mussoorie. In line with several banks, shopping center gives an idea of the colonial era in Mussoorie.




How to Reach Mussoorie
Mussoorie is well connected with the rest of the country through the excellent road network. Dehradun is situated about 35 km from Mussoorie. Jolly Grant Airport about 20 km from the main city of Dehradun serves as the nearest airport to Mussoorie. Dehradun railway station is also the nearest railway station in the area of Mussoorie. Buses and taxis are available at the train station for the trip Mussoorie. Direct bus service is available to Mussoorie from Delhi and Dehradun. A taxi is the best way to reach Mussoorie from nearby cities to enjoy the lovely views of the hills on his way to the queen of hills.

Best Time to Visit Mussoorie
The climate of Mussoorie generally stays cool throughout the year. April to June is the best time to enjoy the tour Mussoorie, due to mild weather. However, these months are peak season in Mussoorie. The place is still crowded and hotel rooms are more expensive in recent months. September and October are also very pleasant months to visit the place. This camp is remote and small within the National Park and enjoys a great location in a sweeping curve of the Luangwa River.


A grove of mahogany trees shade much of the stores. From the thatched dining room and bar, guests can watch elephants, hippos and antelope on the riverbank. Nearby is a spectacular lagoon, Buca Buca, where he spent the morning sitting in silence while the game comes down to eat and drink.
